As COP27 prepares to take place, it is vital that the experiences of people living on the frontlines of the climate crisis on the African continent are centered and heard.
Ahead of COP27 in November, the Elders lay out their calls to action for climate justice and a liveable future: on climate adaptation, loss and damage and an inclusive COP that goes beyond listening to the usual voices.
Answering questions such as ‘What concerns you most about the climate crisis?’, Mary Robinson and Ugandan youth activist Vanessa Nakate discuss climate justice and the international support needed now for those most vulnerable to the climate crisis.
